Terms of Service

Operated by Yoguro. Last generated 2026-08-31.

1. What the service is

Grantfall publishes and delivers event records derived from public US-government data sources (NIH RePORTER, NSF Awards, USAspending). Every event is a disclosed inference over cited public records: it states what the public record shows (for example, that a project's end date has passed and no continuation award has posted) together with a model confidence. Events are lead prioritization, not statements of fact about any organization's finances, plans, or condition.

2. No warranty of accuracy

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and accuracy. Federal data sources post late, revise, and omit; inferences over them will sometimes be wrong. The live error rate is published on the precision page and corrections are published as CLIFF_AVERTED events.

3. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the aggregate liability of Yoguro arising out of or relating to the service is capped at the fees you paid for the service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. Yoguro is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for decisions made in reliance on event records.

4. Service-level credit policy

If a CLIFF_CONFIRMED event delivered to your subscription is falsified — a renewal or continuation award posts for that project — within 30 days of delivery, a credit is applied to your Stripe customer balance automatically. Credits are issued by code, logged in the public repository, and summarized on the precision page. This credit is the sole and exclusive remedy for event inaccuracy.

5. Subscriptions and billing

Billing is handled by Stripe. Subscription filters are stored as Stripe subscription metadata; this system stores no subscriber names, emails, or payment details. You may cancel at any time via the Stripe customer portal; service continues to the end of the paid period.

6. Acceptable use

You may use delivered events in your own business processes, including internal tools and CRMs. You may not resell or republish the paid granular stream as a competing data product. The free feeds and public pages may be linked and quoted with attribution.

7. Data provenance

Underlying grant data is produced by US federal agencies and is in the public domain. Event records, confidence scores, and this site are generated works of Yoguro.

8. Changes

These terms are generated by the system and versioned in the public repository; the git history of this page is the authoritative record of changes. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
